Police Athletic League

Police

Officer Kasey Keckeisen continues to share his passion for martial arts with the community in the form of the Police Athletic League. The Police Athletic League blends wrestling, Judo, and Jujitsu with principles developed from years of practical field experience and application. What is taught has been tested and proven in personal protection, professional use-of-force settings, and mixed martial arts. PAL gives its students the skills to adapt to circumstances, whether that means following department use-of-force policy, defending yourself, or winning a match in the octagon. Competence is developed through modern sporting methods that prepare students for situations they will have to face in the most realistic manner safely possible. This active and fun program has had over 40 participants in the past year.

The PAL is suitable for beginners-to-advanced youth and adults. We welcome you to help us build a better and stronger society through positive training with people of all skill levels in a fun and encouraging environment.

This course is offered at no cost and is open for any one to attend.

Classes take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8PM at the Mounds View Community Center.
